Charli XCX has already shared a few tracks from her upcoming record, Brat (of lime green and blurry Arial font album cover fame). In February 2024 came a Boiler Room set that aired a number of snippets, followed by the official releases of “Von dutch” and “Club classics”, plus a performance of the SOPHIE tribute song “So I”.

Now, a month before the full album’s release, Charli is back with an Aidan Zamiri-shot video for opening track “360”. Looking like a parallel-universe production of Euphoria or a 2020s It Girl twist on Girls, the visuals feature a star-studded cast primed for the extremely online, with Rachel Sennott, Gabbriette, Chloe Cherry, Richie Shazam, Salem Mitchell, Julia Fox and more sitting down for dinner.

It’s not just any dinner, though. As Charli interrupts to play her new track, she’s told to put the performance on hold for a higher cause. “We have to fulfil the prophecy of finding a new, hot internet girl,” explains Gabbriette, in-between exhales of vape smoke. “Or else our kind will cease to exist,” adds Chloe Cherry. “Forever.”

Julia Fox, hiding at the end of the table, is out, since she already hit the heady heights of stardom (and previously appeared at Charli’s Boiler Room set). Luckily, a waiter – @randomcontrol – is on hand to provide the blank canvas for clout. “You need to have this je ne sais quoi,” the It Girls instruct her. “And I would say it’s about being really hot, in like a scary way,” adds Gabbriette, before Richie Shazam chimes in: “You have to be, like, known, but at the same time unknowable.”

The video also includes cameos from Isamaya Ffrench, Hari Nef, Emma Chamberlain, Alex Consani, Quen Blackwell, and – at the very last minute – Chloe Sevigny.

And, with that arcane knowledge, the “new, hot internet girl” is born, and Charli can get on with “360”. Brat’s full release date is currently set for June 7. In the meantime, watch the new music video below.
