Yes, we did have data early-on about coronavirus
by Admin on Mar.30, 2021, under Uncategorized
We knew more than we realized (or admitted) about coronavirus a year ago: https://redstate.com/…/a-year-ago-i-broke-down-the…
I remember reading about this ship and another military ship at the time with similar findings.
And speaking of coronavirus

It is totally irrational to reject hydroxychloroquine (with zinc), a drug with over 50 years of history and millions upon millions of doses given worldwide with virtually no side effects and, I think, zero deaths and at the same time rush for a vaccine that does not have FDA approval, has never been tested on animals, and uses a brand new technology that messes with your immune system via mRNA (Moderna and Pfizer).

I wonder… about climate change…

I wonder… which will affect me most in the life I have left to live: Climate change or the current headlong rush into authoritarianism/totalitarianism in the U.S.?

At What Cost?
by Admin on Mar.17, 2021, under Uncategorized
The stimulus money is hitting today. Up to $1,400/person, I hear, unless you make too much money (or did). That spending package cost us about $5,700/American (all 332 million Americans). About 9% of the $Trillions goes to any kind of COVID relief. The rest, in large part, is payoffs to blue states and other organizations for getting Biden elected. And any of it going overseas is ridiculous.
News Sources
by Admin on Mar.16, 2021, under Uncategorized
If you’re like me, and most everyone else, you tend to get your news/information from sources you’ve come to trust or are at least comfortable with for whatever reason. Let’s play a game in intellectual honesty. We’ll each throw out a handful or less of the sources we each trust (TV, radio, print, blogs, books, whatever). Then we all agree to get at least 10% of our weekly news, politics, commentary, etc. from “the other guys’ sources.” Being right of center, I’ll offer these: Tucker Carlson Tonight (Fox News TV), anything from Prageru.com (5-minute videos and fireside chats), and RedState.com or DailyWire.com for reading. Use the comment section below to add your favorite sources (5 or less). Include how you lean politically then give us your best sources. If we get much action here, I’ll compile a summary and post that. Let us know also how it goes listening in on the other guys. Have fun!
Update (3/31/21): have yet to get any submissions (Facebook post).

Torah Time
by Admin on Mar.11, 2021, under Uncategorized
Here’s a little promo video I did for the Torah group I’ve offered to lead at our church (TimberCreek Church CO):
Anyone is invited (see the link below the video on YouTube).
Update (3/31/21): No takers so far. I’m re-working the plan to do this in 4-session chunks starting with the Ten Commandments.
Update (6/17/21): Still no takers. Here’s the current offering.
The Good American

By Dennis Prager. Opens: “In my last column, I described how I have come to better understand the moral problem of the “‘good German,’ the term used to describe the average, presumably decent German, who did nothing to hurt Jews but also did nothing to help them and did nothing to undermine the Nazi regime.” Here’s the article.
